Growing up in regional NSW Australia was grounding.

At 18 I left to study at Sydney College of the Arts in the Big Smoke - what a culture shock that was!

I spent the best part of 40 years as a Building Designer working in both residential & commercial design.

Creative? Yes, but not always enough to scratch that arty itch.

​

Now the design career is winding down & a new door is opening.

I have more time to pursue art again.

Hardy & I recently made a sea change; relocating from Albury NSW to the beautiful Barossa Valley SA. I will be in a temporary studio space (the garage) until I can create a dedicated studio space. In the meantime to hope to join the arts community & find time for a regular art & botanical print practise.

I've always been connected to the landscape around me as well as the built environment, so drawing on these influences seems a natural expression of who I am today.
